Your main fandom of the year?

Doctor Who!  Watching Doctor Who, especially S3 and S5, is what got me into fandom.  Before, I had been a sci fi junkie but more of a casual fan.  Doctor Who got me writing fanfiction and posting it online and squealing with fangirl friends.  I love it.   

Your favorite film watched this year?

Hmm.  That's a hard choice.  Probably Inception or Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.  I feel like I'm forgetting something, though.  

Your favorite book read this year?

I'm reading Memoirs of a Geisha right now and enjoying it immensely.  I'm also quite fond of Open House, by Beth Ann Fennelly, which is poetry. 

Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?

I really really like Regina Spektor.  "Academia," by Sia is a good one.  I guess the two songs that really make me think of 2010 are "Airplanes," by B.o.B. and "Dog Days Are Over," by Florence + the Machine.    

Your favorite TV show of the year?

Doctor Who, Season Five.  Totally loved it.  

Your favorite LJ community of the year?

Your best new fandom discovery of the year?

Not to sound like a broken record, but I just started watching DW last year, so that's my answer.  Again.   

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?

BSG isn't new, but I just started watching it last fall.  It got really dark at the beginning of S3, and I was kind of disappointed by how it was turning out.  I haven't watched any BSG in a while.    

Your TV boyfriend of the year?

The Eleventh Doctor!  He's so silly and batty and adorable and sweet.  

Your TV girlfriend of the year?

Sharon Agathon.  Her character is really interesting, and Grace Park is just too pretty.  

Your biggest squee moment of the year?

The Big Bang.  It was everything I was promised and more.  

The most missed of your old fandoms?

I miss Firefly a lot.  It's hard to find good fic for it.  

The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?

I've been thinking about giving Buffy a try.   

Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?

Doctor Who S6!

Hmm...a cross between Mal, Jayne, and River, I think. I miss that show. Cut down before it had a chance to fully bloom, it was!
