I'm still buried under a mountain of math, but I wanted to make an update since it's been nearly a month.

-Doctor Who S5 box set came!  Excitement!  Those extra scenes were absolutely adorable.
-Linear algebra is merely eating my life, not ruining it, so we're good.
-Imogen Heap's "Half Life" = story of my life right now.  Make of that what you will.
-Finished BSG S1.  I love the characters so much, but the plot is still kind of boring to me.
-Tried to watch Sherlock, but couldn't really get into it.  Will try again later.

Good luck to you.

:D Hello! Code is eating my life right now; put us together and I think we've got a scientist of some kind... ;)

IMO, BSG picks up in season 2. It's my favorite season.

From what I've seen so far, S2 is more intense than S1. Who are your favorite characters, by the way? I love Starbuck, Apollo, and both Boomers, and even Gaius Baltar is starting to grow on me.

Kara is my favorite character from the whole series. My second favorite is someone you meet in season 2, and I don't know if you're there yet, and I don't want to give away which new characters stick around and which don't anyway.

But I also love the Sharons and Helo.

Lee...I'm hot and cold on. Sometimes I love him, sometimes I think he's adorably dumb, and sometimes I want to punch his self righteous face. Which I suppose is better than not caring about him at all.

1) YEEAAAHH!!! We both made it!! I was nearly having seizures over the adorableness of it all.
2) Boo on math.
3) Lost on the reference.
4) Ah. My friend's a big fan of that. Haven't really given it a go...
5) This makes me uber sad. Try it again. The cinematography, the dialogue, the music... guh. There's nothing NOT to like. Mm, double negatives.

It's a song by Imogen Heap. I just like the lyrics a lot.

I think I will try it again when I'm home in two weeks and have less on my mind...I've only heard good things and I did hope to like it.

I like Sherlock, but it didn't grip me nearly the way S-5 did. As something to watch while I'm folding laundry and such, though, it works perfectly. I did like the episode I just finished, where he finally tangles with Moriarti. And I love the guy who plays Watson. And I think this Sherlock is delightfully wicked.

Those extra scenes... :happy sighs: I seriously need T-shirts and mugs that say "Space Gandalf" on them, because....oh, the happiness. (That or... "Oooo, Gandalf!")

Space Gandalf mugs would be fantastic, hahahaha.

1. *is jealous*
2. Math is EVIL
3. I do not know what this is
4. I keep meaning to watch this
5. There were certain bits that threw me, but I'll admit to watching for very shallow and good-looking reasons (also, the dialogue. Every time Sherlock and Watson started bickering I started throwing squees out so hard I'm surprise my laptop screen didn't crack)

Math isn't evil...it's just misunderstood! Haha.

Your icon is hilarious.

Alright, I'll admit that math probably isn't evil. The numbers, however, ARE out to get me.

I got the icon off of [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. :D
