I've never read any other Fables comics, so I don't know too much about them. The frame narrative for this one was pretty weak, but the individual stories were interesting and had really, really gorgeous art. (The reviews I read said the art was fancier than it usually is in Fables, as this is some kind of special book? IDK.)
Batman: The Court of Owls was pretty good--it had some things I liked and some that I didn't. The themes it got into in the second half were interesting, but as usual I didn't find Bruce Wayne as compelling as I found his sidekicks. :P
Nightwing: Year One is fun if you like Dick Grayson (which I do). And A Wrinkle in Time is a wonderful book, but I don't know if it really needed to be a graphic novel. I mean, I don't think the adaptation hurt it, but I don't know that it added a whole lot, either.
